Finally made it to under 290 !! I know its not all about the number on the scale, but weighing less means I'm healthier,and I wish to feel better and be around for a long time.Goal will get closer one day at a time and even tho I wish the weight would drop fast I have never regained it back on this journey and I am proud of myself

    It's not about the number, but when a certain number is reached it really is a reason to do a happy dance! You will never have to see that number again! It's all a part of this journey to health!

Great job!

Don't feel disappointed that it isn't going faster. We all want that immediate result...but if you're looking for lifetime health, slower is better. The recommendation is for 1 - 2 pounds per week. Oh yeah. It sounds interminable to me, too. But a slow steady progression will help you learn to stay in the nutritional plan you've adopted. You have to learn it in your body, not just in your mind. You can't just talk your body into understanding the way you can in your mind. So don't be discouraged. You're going about it the right way, and you'll meet your goal! Hang in there!
