I worked well over twelve hours today. Once a week, I have to service multiple work sites in one day. I cover several towns in a compact company car. I have to stay calm, be effective and provide excellent customer care. I do have a long break in middle of the day, so I decided to take a long walk after lunch. The walk would prove to be a life saver. Additional work sites were added to my list of stops. Each one being some what time sensitive. My walk was an act of self care, which did help me to think clearly and stay calm. I also ate small meals through out the day and made sure to stay hydrated. The exercise helped me manage stress, be positive and to be a proper representative for me company. One of my most important goals is to give myself as much self care as I can, when ever I can.
