Filthy Fifty!

The Filthy Fifty is one of my favorite CrossFit workouts. I love chippers!

50 each of:
Box Jumps
Jumping Pull-ups
KB Swings (26#)
Walking Lunge
KTE (I did knee tucks)
Push Press (Rx=33#)
Back Extensions
WB Shots (I did 14# but at 9' target instead of 10')
Burpees
Double-unders (I did 100 singles)

Time: 31:04

I purposely didn't look at my old time beforehand because that sometimes psychs me out. This had some pluses and minuses. I knew I had finished it in under 28 minutes before, so I knew I went a lot slower this time. When I looked after class, I saw my time was 26:46, but I had used 10# for the WBs. I don't think that made me over 4 minutes slower, but it did make me feel better! Last time I did 150 singles instead of 100 though. Oops. I also just didn't feel very good when we started. I just had a smoothie for breakfast, I think I would've felt better if I had my usual scrambled eggs. My shoulders are also still a little sore from Tuesday. Last time I wrote that I "BLASTED" through everything until the wall balls and I definitely wouldn't use that word to describe my performance today. I felt like I was resting more often than usual. Oh well. I'm slightly disappointed, but proud that I finished using 14# wall balls. I just need to get those double unders and knees to elbows down!

    Well.. so sorry you didn't meet your own expectations... but CONGRATs on upping the WB poundage.. lawsy! and I think you did fantastic.. as for liking chippers?? WTH?? LOL

    Ahhhhhh I hate chippers!!!!!!!!!! My least favorite kind of workout. My box usually does a chipper on Mondays. I usually don't go Mondays!!!!!!!
