Quiet Day at Home

Thursday, June 13, 2013

A severe thunderstorm took the place of my golfing today. I heard the thunder and saw streaks of lightening. It was awesome to pull up the sheet and go back to sleep. I feel so much better after additional hours of sleep.

I will do Zumba DVDs and use my spin bike today in place of golf. I am using meals from the freezer so no major cooking today.

I hope to look for a pattern in Bob's glucose readings, dextrose solution bags, and his higher glucose reading when he eats at a restaurant. I have the numbers and the research questions. I may need 2 more weeks of data to be conclusive. My ultimate goal is to say X units of insulin for Green bags, Y units for Red/Green bags, and Z units for a meal at a restaurant.

We ordered 2 hearing aids, charging units, and remote for Bob's hearing loss. I am worried when he cannot hear sirens, telephone voices (female especially), ME, and others. We expect to hear from the audiologist on Wednesday.

So it is a quite day at home. We'll end the day with episodes from the 5th season of Taxi.

Hope you get your answers and that the hearing aids work well. I would worry about not being able to hear sirens, too!

Sounds like a good day all and all, especially "Taxi."
