Ice cream for breakfast

Ok, so I am going to be a little judgy and ranty for a second.
What is it about the summer that makes people go crazy in Starbucks? Now, as a coffee lover myself, I can appreciate the need for caffeine in the morning, but something happens to people as soon as they don their flip flops. Instead of their usual coffee run, where it's Americano all the way, maybe a latte or cappuccino occasionally, people suddenly want a mocha choca frappa double blended whipped vanilla hazelnut something or other.
C'mon folks. Let's call a spade a spade. You aren't getting coffee. It's a sundae. It has whipped cream and chocolate syrup on top. You might as well add sprinkles or stick a flake in it.
Now, it is absolutely your right to get whatever you want, but please don't kid yourself that you are just getting your morning cup of joe. Plus these ICE CREAMS take so long to make that those of us who do just want a coffee have to wait around for half an hour while the poor barristas hustle around back there with the plethora of equipment and ingredients required to make your ice cream for breakfast.
Rant over (forgive me, coffee is serious business).
