I went to WW over 10 years ago and got to my goal and lifetime membership...I lost 26 lbs and have been maintaining. I have slipped 2 times during the 10 years and gained 10 lbs. I guess 10 is the magic number for me. The first time was 4 years ago. I had been maintaining for over 6 years so I knew I could do it. I went back to WW and lost that 10 lbs. Last year I lost my wonderful mom and I was so sad during the past Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays that I stopped tracking and gained that 10 lbs again. I gave myself a good talking to, and I have lost the 10 lbs and I am maintaining again. I love SP and the support I get here......I am a person that has to be accountable and Spark People does that for me. I have so many spark friends that are always with me for support. I go to the pages of spark friends that I haven't seen for a while and I write them a little note to let them know they are missed and we want them to come back. I didn't leave SP when I gained that 10 lbs and I was ashamed I had gained that. I continued checking in each day and finally I had that talk with myself. It isn't always easy to stay on track but because this is a lifestyle change....I WORK HARD AT IT EVERYDAY. If I have a bad day, I get back on track so that I can stay on track. You can't STAY on track if you don't get back on to begin again. You have to "keep on keeping on". By "We" did it, I mean my Spark Friends and I.
