Hi... boy have I been missing all my Spark friends!! Yesterday was our 36th wedding anniversary and we finally got back on line!!
Where to start....I can't believe how much I have rammed into 2 weeks lol!!
Missed my May recap but May went great..too much partying tho maybe as a few pounds have crept back on..so June will be time to get back to business!! This will include a quickie recap that I refreshed the page, got 1000+ points and exercise minutes, drank lots and lots of water and ate lots and lots of cake..lol!!
The cattle are all sorted and out in their pastures so every few days I go with the quad and check and count and bring them salt and minerals...been doing some field work, hubby is about 1/2 done seeding...we just bale or graze our fields so as long a we get done in the next month we'll be on schedule :)
We have a pasture about 35 miles away and we spent today fixing fence there and then we'll haul cattle over, maybe tomorrow...the long grass was full of ticks and we were really covered with them..only a few had latched on but even after a long bath and changing into a sundress, I still feel crawly and itchy :(
I'm watching the first game of the last series and it is in triple overtime so will keep me busy while I type and watch...
My garden is coming nice..we have been getting nice rains and have had around 4" in the last few weeks, so everything is lush and green here. But my grass has gotten out of control so I need some dry days to catch up...
We went to Plentywood MT last night for supper for our anniversary, took MIL out for lunch on Sunday for her 80th Birthday, took my neighbor to the salad smorg at a close town...my birthday lunch with school friends has been postponed (maybe in June we can get together) We moved our mail from one town to the west of us to the town to the east of us...since hubby doesn't work for the gov't pasture we don't need the mail in that direction!! That is also why I had no internet..it was part of his job and they cut it off before I could get the new system installed and running...We helped a neighbor brand and then move his cattle over 2 days..spent lots of time visiting with family and friends and having fun....
...Which happens to be my theme for June...FAMILY ~ FRIENDS ~ FUN!!
Since June is already 1/3 gone I'll really have to shake my butt to reach my goals....
refresh spark page
spark points 1000+
spark fitness minutes 1000+
lots and lots of water
get back on track
focus on FAMILY ~ FRIENDS ~ FUN
Well I did catch you up on my June so far...hope the month is lots of fun for you too!! I have refreshed my page already with watermelon colors...need to get moving and also getting points to meet the 1000+ goal!!
Coming up is a busy Father's Day weekend!! Son and girlfriend will be in Weyburn visiting friends and we are planning to get together for a meal with hubby's dad too. Then plan B came into effect when daughter needs me to get her oldest girl for the weekend as her dad bailed on their weekend together and daughter has plans to go to Calgary with her new boyfriend..so I am off Friday to get her and then take her back home on Sunday...just a 4 hour drive both ways, both days....feel tired already..this Grandma is feeling her age..lol!!!
My neighbor's 89th birthday is next week and I have a flowering hanging basket for her which I have managed not to kill in the month I have had it here..lol!!
Well the hockey game is over in triple overtime with the Black Hawks finally scoring!!
Time to head to bed..thanks for dropping by..remember to have fun and keep on Sparkin'
