very dehydrated

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

I went to the doctor today. He was very happy with everything, I had lost 14 pounds, my blood pressure was good. When I tried to give blood I was so dehydrated I could not give blood it was coagulated in the tube before it could fill that file. Then when I stood up I couldn't walk for a while.

I am sorry, Joe. I missed a lot last week due to a migraine that lasted several days and I just read this. I hope that today, Saturday, you feel better. I know you need to, to work. Good luck, my friend.

I had a dear friend that loved her riding mower...she would mow her lawn daily if she had her way...she dressed with long sleeves, and bib overalls...covered her face with a mask and a straw hat....when she finished her mowing she would be dizzy ...she would drink coffee all day or ice tea. She went to her Doctor to find she was dehydrated badly....tea and coffee do not help... we (her friends) bought her Gatoraid to get her to drink more...

Texas heat can be unbearable...she said she did not feel hot. Please drink water tea or coke or coffee....the caffeine will make it worse.

Please !!! We care about you. emoticon

Let's hope your're not restricting fluids to keep the numbers on the bathroom scale low. If you make an effort to hydrate enough to keep your urine pale yellow to clear, you'll find out what your body weight really is, and can work from there.

You were in the right place. I hope your doctor kept an eye on you. Keep drinking that water. I'll bet your weather is hot right now.

If you are normally that dehydrated I'll bet you'll feel a lot better getting your 8 glasses of water each day.

I have rotten veins, so I have to drink a liter of water, put a hot pack on it, and they take it out of a vein on my wrist near my thumb. Get lots of water in you! emoticon

Glad things are going better. Bet you'll be feeling even better as you're drinking more and more. I like plain water mostly, sometimes a little lemon juice in it.

It is hard to tell from your abbreviated blogs, but it does appear as though your life is improving some. So congratulations and keep up the good work.
