Garden Time

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Today was my first Back to Normal day.
I got up and made an asparagus omelete. Chuck full of the fresh asparagus from my garden. Then went to water swimming for an hour. That really helped work the kinks out of my back from planting potatoes and cleaning up around the place.
Today I finally got the squash seeds in the ground. Tomorrow I'll have time for the fun stuff...the flowers! I have trays upon trays just waiting to get in the ground.
Thanks everyone for welcoming me back and all the wedding wishes.
Hugs,

I'm so glad you're back and I decided to return as well. I've gained about thirty pounds and blamed everything else under and over the sun except me until last night. I travel a lot and it's been so hard; but I have to come to terms with the disappointment of not fitting into my clothes and move on to that weight loss I need to have.
Glad you're back! Missed talking through this vehicle.
Take care,

Yay for "normal!" Or pretty close. lol.
Our asparagus is already done for the season. I made the mistake of mulching one of the beds and now I can't keep my dog out of it! She wants to lay right in the middle of my new plants. And it's my purple ones too, so I'm as mad as a wet hen.

NorwoodGirl is right, you do look even more radiant. You just glow and look so happy and healthy. I hope you have a nice break from all the wedding planning and get to enjoy that big garden of yours now. You deserve a little "me" time however you decide to spend it.

Yay for back to normal! Your omelette sounds delish. I am going to have to try one. By the way, I am buying this kale salad mix now and have been throwing it in smoothies, and even actually mixing it into my salads, lol. It's kind of growing on me now....

So - with all of the excitement, how did you survive healthwise? You looked so good in your pictures! Did you lose even more weight?

Doesn't it seem back to normal. You just wait there won't be too much normal from here out. Stick to the gardening - such good therapy. emoticon

I admire your green thumb. And yes, the asparagus sounds delicious! Wish my neighbor had some growing that I could "borrow"!

I'm envious of your asparagus. I've tried it with no luck.
