First Swim of the Season :D

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

We have this wonderful in-the-ground pool that was here when we bought our home 4 years ago. I was never a great swimmer but I always loved the water. I've gotten so much better now with swimming laps and treading water and just enjoying the fun pool games too. Today, I swam 15 laps and treaded water for 10 minutes and had fun walking around the pool and enjoying the sunny day. With exercise that I love and watching my calories on Spark, along with all my Sparker friends, I will be skinnier at the end of this summer than I am now. Wahoo! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I try not to covet, but an in-ground pool! That's AWESOME! Oh, I just realized you've changed your background image! I can see you smiling! Just don't burn that fair skin! DD has what she calls "the Irish curse" of fair skin too. I'm as white as a ghost in the winter, but brown as a biscuit already this summer. I think I tan easily due to Native American ancestry. In fact, I'm the first blonde generation in the line. Rambling, geez, I must be drinking the coffee too quick this morning!

Water exercise is GREAT! I hope that we can put up our old Intex pool (if the mice didn't get to it this winter) just so I can do a little water aerobics this summer. Burns a LOT of calories without leaving you a sweaty, stinky mess.
Have a FUN summer! You are looking AMAZING!!!
