Goal Setting

I've done goal setting before...sort of...but I've never followed through. Duh! How can I expect to be successful without a plan? I got through the 1 week trial of SparkCoach and then stopped logging for about a week. Today, I went ahead and signed up for a monthly subscription. I wasn't ready to commit to purchasing a whole year yet. I've spent SO much money on trying to lose weight. But $8.99 to keep using it for awhile seemed like a reasonable risk.

I printed out SparkPeople's article about setting goals. I plan to sit down later and work that out on paper. I'm also going to set a short term goal right now: To lose 2 pounds this week. At my weight, that shouldn't be too hard to achieve. All I really need to do is eat less and exercise more. Since I'm following a hunger-fullness plan for eating, this should be relatively painless. Especially since I no longer desire to overeat and/or binge on binge foods. God has been so merciful.
