Onward to week 2!

Today starts the 2nd week of the BLC. I lost 1 pound the first week, which is good, but it will be difficult to reach my goal if I only lose 1 pound every week. So let's see how well I followed my plan:

Eat only at the table? not so good. I still put food in my mouth while in the kitchen.

Eat only at mealtime? good. except there were 3 days when I actually missed a meal.

Read SP blogs? could be better. has to do with time management.

Scripture & prayer daily? still room for improvement here, see above.

Daily exercise? definitely room for improvement. only walked 2 days, ST only 2 days.

Tracking my CICO (calories in, calories out report from SP) reflects my results--weekly total was -3019 calories, resulting in a 1 pound weight loss.

What to do this week?

Time management--Make scripture study and workout time a priority!!! Do it first thing in the morning. If I have to go to work early, then go to bed early the night before, and get up earlier to get it done. If I don't get it done in the morning, then get it done in the evening. NO EXCUSES!!

Inner integrity--I commit to eating only at the table, no food will go in my mouth while standing in the kitchen, for any reason. This is my decision.

I will post a reminder in my kitchen of my 3 short term motivators for this week:

Believe--God hears my prayers & will support me
Obey--All things in moderation is God's way
Endure--My trial is for a small moment in God's timing

    It is good to have goals and to stick to it. Our bodies have their own rhythms. Listen to it.
