Back on the Road

This morning I went out for a run for the first time since the marathon on Saturday. I took it rather easy and was able to move though 5.5 miles at a much slower pace than usual. It felt good to get out and run after several days off. No more long runs for the next few weeks for this guy. I will gage how the legs feel before determining how many days I will run each week.

    That's a good idea, to take it a little easier after the marathon. A MARATHON! You deserve a break, that's for certain.

    The best thing we can do is listen to our bodies, but there's usually too many other voices screaming for our attention so we can't listen! God gives us great advice, doesn't He? "Be still!" I keep on working on that one!
