Week one Summer Challenge

This week is going pretty good. I'm feeling really good about it. I didn't get my walk in yesterday and I didn't get my water in Monday, but I'm not perfect. I've got 2 out of 4 pushup days in and I'm doing awesome with my water today. This afternoon I'll go for my walk and maybe take the kids swimming.

I went to Wal-Mart yesterday evening with my oldest to get dinner. We were supposed to have pork roast but I forgot to put it in the oven, so I was going to make the fish dinner I would have had today. Tyler talked me into frozen pizza. I now realize I am never going to be able to eat frozen pizza without gorging myself. At least not for a while. So pizza will be out of the diet until I can control myself better. I hate that. I love pizza, but I cannot follow the 'in moderation' rule with pizza.

While at Wal-Mart we also did the health test machine. I checked my vision, blood pressure and BMI. Not good. I don't remember what my BP was but it said I was at risk for hypertension. And my BMI wasn't good either. It was kind of a slap in the face. I really need to get serious about my weight loss or I'm going to have some serious issues!

So I've only gained .4 lbs since last week's weigh in. I do mine on Wednesdays. That's not bad considering my weight has been crazy up and down lately. I've really been watching what I eat (besides the pizza) so maybe I'll have some success with this challenge! We'll see!

  Stick with it! The longer you do something the easier it gets. I used to dread waking up at the butt-crack of dawn to go work out but now I don't even think about it. I pack my bag the night before and get up and go in the morning. Keep working hard, it will pay off.
