I am really excited to go grocery shopping and buy healthier options to what I already own - like cheese. I love cheese! I do not love the calories in cheese.
My husband is on board and supportive, as he always is. But he doesn't want to throw out food that we have (understandable). I am going to see if my relatives want my cheese.
My get-healthy makeover has extended into my house. I really, really want to clean and organize and declutter. I am the clutter queen, so I've been scouring Pinterest for ideas. The kitchen is always a sore spot for me because it's always cluttered with mail, shoes, toys, etc. I do have a fairly organized pantry, until my son decides to open the door, start throwing boxes and packages on the floor, and scream in delight. (Toddlers - what can you do?) He loves to clean and throw things away (I swear he's my child despite this), so when he does this, I am able to find year-old boxes of crap that I never threw away. Sort of a win-win. Except that one time he dumped out an entire box of rice...
Tonight is my weigh-in, and I'm excited to see my progress. Despite my heel pain, I've been doing pretty well with exercise, and my eating isn't bad at all. Last night, I fired up my Wii and played Just Dance (doing mostly the arm movements). My son thought that was fun and tried to dance with me. His imitations are very funny; he kept trying to do some head-bobbing move that the on-screen dancer was doing. Then he decided to go destroy the kitchen. (See above paragraph.) The dogs ate well when a package of crackers busted open, haha.
It's miserably hot, but I want to try to get in a bike ride tonight, assuming the storms abate. Let's hope so!
