So today's a change of pace.. no babysitting... working at the hospital... today's hours are 7-330 different from my 8-5 usual hours. It's amazing what a difference working in a public environment can do (for me at least) with my diet and mood. a typical day is : roll out of bed at 7:10 leave by 7:30ish- get to work at 8:10ish... usually in gym clothes and no makeup.. hair ontop of my head... my food is all prepped in fridge with coffee and vitamins set up for the day.. I can give myself that much credit ha... but baby naps 830 or 9 until 11ish and I'm bored.. Then they nap again at 2 or had been all year..
-went to bed last night 11 after i made lunch/snacks I EVEN thought I would be at work at 7 and possibly wouldn't have time for bfast so I made a PBJ sandwich to eat in car... (too stimulated from zumba 7-8pm)
-woke up a lot but finally out at 5:15
-dressed in work clothes that I laid out last night (so i wouldn't rush in am--good thinking)
-makeup and hair done.
-out door by 6...
-got to work at 640 with breakfast consumed, coffee half gone, and found paperwork I needed for work.
- BEST part... I got to see my bf for 15 before his shift ended and mine started.. hadn't seen him in a few days.. so that was so nice! :)
So here I am, sitting at work... doing okay for energy alittle tired which is expected given amount of hours I slept haha.. starting to get a tad hungry.. but I'm not eating like crazy. I know I struggle with babysitting because I'm bored as I mentioned above. Baby sleeps for 2 hours.. I sit there. I thought I'd read a book.. book wasn't far enough interesting... time to get a new one haha!
school doesn't start til Sept. which then hopefully he'll still nap 2 in the am and 2 in pm (wishful thinking haha) but i'll at least be productive and keep my hands and mind occupied.
SO maybe this summer with working a good amount at the hospital would help my new lifestyle haha!
On another note.. I think each week I will try a new fruit or veg. and maybe post on it. I'm really into looking up health benefits of foods.. like this morning I drank my "red machine" smoothie and noticed pomegrante in it.. so I know it's good for you but I wanted to know why.. it's a superfood but it helps prevent heart disease and other types of cancers. But it's so fascinating to me. I know kinda nerdy..but whatever haha :)
SO today I work until 330... I plan on doing some errands after work then taking spin at 645 with the instructor from Monday night who kicked my butt. I have a gym bag in the car that I conveniently packed last night as well.
