Today is day one of week 2. Week one went very well and I feel like I am settling into a groove of keeping up.
Last week I wanted to focus on doing ST 2 days during the week and start the C25K running program. I was shooting for a 1.5 pound loss on the scale. So, 2 out of 3 isn't so bad, right? I did do ST 2 days last week. I had my Thursday TT challenge for the BLC and then added in ST on Monday as well. I did lose at least 1.5 pounds on the scale...actually lost 2.2. It's always nice to miss your goal by losing more than you hoped. I did not, however, start the C25K program last week. All in all, not a bad week.
This week my goals are:
1. I will continue to focus on ST 2 days this week. I know this seems like such a simple goal that I should not have to make it a goal 2 weeks in a row. You'd have to understand how badly I dislike ST to see why I need to write it in stone to make it happen.
2. I will start the C25K program this week. The app is on my phone, my knee is much better, I have a week of walking in my new sneakers so they are broke in and I have no excuse not to start it.
3. I will focus on cutting out any negative self-talk I may be doing. Some of the things that I pick apart about myself are things I would NEVER say to someone else. Why say them to myself?
4. My scale goal this week is 1.5 pounds. This will probably be my scale goal every week since this is a healthy and sustainable weight loss for me.
