Day 9

Yesterday I read a few different clean eating blogs and have some new ideas to try. The lady in one said she aims for her ideal weight (for me 130) x's 10 plus 300 cal for sedentary or 500-800 depending on how active you are and then divides it by however many meals (for her it was 6 small meals) you have each day and that told her how much she could have for each meal and then she tried to do 1g of protein for every lb that she weighed so each snack/meal had at least some protein in it. She posted her progress from post baby-17 mo later and it was pretty impressive I'm trying to write out a meal plan that would follow those general guidelines and be as clean as possible but I know getting that much protein in will be a struggle for me. My goal will be to have a weeks worth of meals and snacks planned out by monday.

b-grapefruit smoothie
am snack- apple
l-chicken breast, corn, watermelon & an oatmeal cookie
d-2.5 slices frozen pizza & cantaloupe
pm snack- colby jack cheese cubes
water-6
steps- 6033
workout- burn circuit 2 dvd

    I am trying to incorporate cleaner eating into our diet. I'm working it in slowly to get the boys use to it so I don't have to make several different meals. They are starting to love these sauteed green beans I make instead of the canned. And I'm starting to work on them eating more fish. It's so hard to eat better sometimes with the kiddos. I really wish I had of started when they were babies so they would have grown to love fresh veggies and unprocessed foods. They do love fruits though!! Good luck with the meal planning! That has been the biggest struggle for me! But now that I have it down it makes life a breeze!
