Isn't always something

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

So great day yesterday with my DH home. We did lots of errands and have more to do today.
It's nice to have someone in the house again after being alone for so long. And I am just so happy that I am feeling healthy and can enjoy the company.

But wouldn't you know, last night I noticed I lost a filling so have to go get that straightened out. The good news is here in Mexico they have excellent dental care as fact right at the bottom of our little mountain is a Dental Express and I believe you can walk in. So as soon as I walk the dogs I will go and check it out.
But like I said it seems there is always something.

Had a nice rain late yesterday afternoon so I believe our rainy season has begun. That is always so welcomed to clean off all the dust and dirt and cool things down.

I am still eating Carmen's yummy meals but holding my own at 105 pounds. That gives me plenty of "cushion" for Disney World. Although I believe it will be a challenge to eat gluten free, sugar free and dairy free at the park. I know they will have mostly junk foods that I won't be able to eat. But I have already started a shopping list for when we get there. We are staying in a big house we rented with pool and all. I will roast a turkey breast and buy gluten free bread and make myself a sandwich to pack and carry in my back pack. And take almonds and such. I have this nice small cooler bag thing that will even fit in my purse. So I won't be stuck eating the junk foods and plan to stay on plan.

I do hope all of you are doing great.
Have a wonderful day.

Hope you got your tooth fixed!
You have a great plan for your trip to Disney. Staying in a house and having a kitchen to fix you meals and snacks is a great help.

I like your idea of a shopping list before getting to the park! :-)
I tend to bring my food more and more times, too. Little preparation, but saves a lot of time and energy when on the go.
Keep it up!

It is great that you can plan and make your own food. I think it is far superior to junk fast food. When you take your own you are actually treating yourself. Great to hear you enjoy doing stuff with your husband. It is a pity that you are separated for long times. I am sure you will make the best of your time together.

Your plan for Disney sounds great. I carried lots of healthy foods around the last 4 times we went and I was glad. There are many nice restaurants there with other than junk food, but getting gluten-, sugar- and dairy-free might be a challenge. Have fun. Great you have the cushion so you won't worry so much and can indulge a bit. Hoping the dental work was a breeze. -Marsha

If you let them know I think the day before they can prepare special meals for you. Are you staying on property?
they are really good at accommodating different diets
