A boy at work told me "You're not old. You look like you are in your thirties." I will be fifty in a year and two months. He may just be a young kid with poor age judgment skills but I'll take it where I can get it!!! I'm now slowed down to about one pound lost per week so at this rate it will take about six months to lose the last twenty four pounds. But I can feel bones! I actually get hurt at least once a week from not remembering that I have less padding now. I finally got around to coloring my hair last night since that girl Friday made ALL my grey hair sprout out. I am gonna finally get smar next time and wear some of those old fashioned elbow length yellow gloves next time because every. SINGLE time I end up with at least two purple finger tips on each hand.
Work was actually pretty good with only a couple of blow ups and after being ninety five degrees or more and incredibly humid on my first break, the second one was super cool and breezy...and then the wind picked up much more making me wonder if I should be afraid of tornadoes! Now it is humid again. Earlier I caught a tweet from Mumford And Sons that they have to postpone their Dallas concert and I was freaked cuz I didn't know they were gonna be so close. Freaked more when I read that Tim had a blood clot on the brain. They say he's gonna be fine though. How horrific. All their US dates are sold out. I already warned Coda that if I hear another phone call like last night between he and Lisa, I'm recording it. "I'm gonna let you go because you are tired. Your eyes are closed and I can't understand what you are saying. Meow. Don't you wanna go to sleep? Meow. I'm gonna hang up now. Meow. I can tell you are tired. Meow." For thirty minutes or so this kept on.
I came home to a surprise of having Ron put up almost all of the kitchen trim while I was at work and I was ecstatic. Now I could get the shelves out of the living room! I ALMOST did the right thing and waited for Ron to give authorization to do it but when Coda asked why we had to wait, that's all it took. He and Zack had to work hard on the heavy thing to keep from dragging it on the new floor and keep it from hitting the ceiling. Ron had measured perfectly so I knew there couldn't be any problems. He just didn't take into account that it is wider at the bottom. So it blocks the doorway and you can only open the door halfway now. So now I'm stressing that he's gonna be mad that we put it there without him saying to. So I made just enough space in the garage to put it and the boys promised to move it tomorrow. Might as well make my broccoli. Stubbed my toe on the door causing it to rebound and hit me full force in the head.
