fellow women, I need ideas!

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

So I am fast approaching that horrible time of the month where I crave nothing but sweets and am more hungry than usual. How do you ward of the cravings, and what do you do to stay on track? I really don't want to mess up for an entire week every month just because of stupid woman problems! Thanks for the advice! emoticon emoticon

I am the same way. I get STARVING. I think it helps me stock up on veggies and healthy snacks. For the sweetness maybe some fruit. Strawberries with a little sugar goes a long way and aren't that bad. Maybe get some fruit/fruit juice popsicles.

I used to have PMS bad.

It depends on the person... but you might be alright to drink some hot chocolate or carob . I made it with stevia. The hotness is comforting.

Some teas are fine with a bit of honey or light sugar, like the passion fruit and mango or pineapple.

Or I would eat 1/2 of good yogurt or some grand crackers with cheese or a bit of peanut butter. You get the protein with the treat.

Basically, the big portion and excess sugar makes the hormones bad ( blood sugar and calories. ) emoticon

Perhaps have a piece of dark chocolate or fruits have sugar in them. That might work.
