My internet service was down last night once I got home from the gym, so no blog yesterday, but I was completely on plan.
BUT, Yesterday was awesome -- nutrition-wise and exercise-wise (work-wise -- not so much).
Today. Work was much better. Nutrition was awesome and exercise was awesome (I finally made it back to where I was on my running schedule -- 12/1 x3 (plus warmup/cool down). So I just got back from the gym, and I'm totally excited I did it (wasn't feeling it earlier tonight, but dragged myself to the gym anyway). So now I feel great. Thursday is my next running day -- not sure if I'll repeat today or move onto the next challenge yet. Wednesday (tomorrow) I get to work with my trainer after work -- plus I was thinking that I'll add 30 mins of cardio after my 30 min trainer session. The 30 min sessions are working out well so far.
I'm trying to drink a ton of water this week (at least my 8 glasses a day, by trying for more).
Plus upping my protein levels this week.
(Basically trying to shock my body into the reality that yes, we are going to work hard and we are going to lose weight -- whether my body wants to or not -- I do.)
My goal for this week was 4 pounds by Saturday -- ambitious, but I thought it would help me strive extra hard.
Alright -- off to read my book (decided I should read War and Peace -- I'm totally hooked and good thing, since it's a long book!!) and head to bed.
