Ok so I lost a bit since Saturday thank god. I'm on a quest to make vegan cheese now though since I can't really eat cheese. I'm also going to make yogurt, and cream cheese. All things I miss eating. I haven't baked since so making this cheese, well yogurt first, will be interesting. Waiting for 1 ingredient to come via mail since I couldn't find it in the stores. If I could find soy free and dairy free yogurt in the stores I wouldn't need to make my own. Ironically lots of recipes say you need actual non dairy yogurt to start your yogurt. Oh well. I'm going to go a different route and using a culture starter. Hopefully it works. I made rice milk last night, and a fermenting thingy for the cheese, but the fermenting thing isn't done yet. It's going to take a couple days. I haven't tasted the rice milk though, mainly because there's no sugar or anything added and it would probably taste really gross. I can't wait for the cheese. Actually, I can't wait for the cream cheese! Then I can put it on bagels!!! Well, I could put it on bagels if the damn bagels would turn out right. So excited. But apparently it's a long process, making fake cheeses and such. I just want to hurry up and eat it. Oh I was supposed to review all my stuff on SP since it's been a month. I'll do it tomorrow.
