Let's see what I have to say here today.
According to sparkpeople it's been 46 days since I signed up. Unfortunately I kept forgetting to spin the sparkwheel even though I was actively using the site the first few days and it doesn't count those days as being "active."
Also because I use the sparkpeople app on my iphone sometimes I forget to save my 8 cups of water, but I've drank at least 8 cups every day since the beginning. For me it's been no problem whatsoever. So sometimes when I realize on my streak page I forgot to save on a certain day, I will correct it since I know I did it and it doesn't make sense for my streak to be off.
I've been eating more calories lately, but also been working out more than usual so I guess that's fair.
I have been loving working out. Mostly I've been walking for cardio, but also have been doing strength training either from the routines from the workout generator here, or on wii fit. This past Sunday I did a strength training on my wii fit and did things I don't normally do, trying to do as many as possible and work out all my body. It was intense. I went to the point where I couldn't really go any further but it felt great. I did lunges, a plank, pushups and side planks, jacknives (I'm ridiculously good at those for some reason but they're starting to get harder now), rowing squats (also another thing I'm good at though not sure why) and other various exercises including some yoga moves that are supposed to strengthen (my favorite is the downward dog). I've been using my mom's treadmill while watching game of thrones I have recorded, unfortunately I have two more episodes left until it's over for the season :(
Will have to find a new show to watch while working out.
Today for breakfast I made waffles in my waffle maker. I wouldn't say they're the picture of healthy waffles, but they're okay. They're made with coconut milk and some other stuff. The batter is very thick but comes out great. I was craving something like that so I gave into it.
However since I am running low on my vega one shake it was more of a challenge to meet my nutritional needs today. I am trying to eek it out on what I have left so that I won't have to totally go without it until I can afford a new bottle. So today I didn't have it but my folate, magnesium, iron and b-12 were lower than usual. I think it won't hurt much as sometimes I've been actually going over the requirement (iron in particular but I am also anemic) and tomorrow will be a much better day because I've already planned it out. (Granted I'll have the shake.) I'll have to figure out things a little differently if I run out of it, but I know I can do it, as I've figured out almost everything so far with a little practice and education.
I think that's it for tonight. I have to start some schoolwork that I've been procrastinating and also need to have my last snack so I'm not starving later on while trying to sleep. My snack is a banana and almond milk.
