A wonderful accomplishment

Tuesday, June 11, 2013

I never really looked at it as an accomplishment, but being able to finish a 63 mile bike ride and feel so invigorated and not sore and not crippled over in pain is a accomplishment .

I do believe I owe this to all the preparing that I have done and not just for this ride but for being able to do anything physical.. 4 years ago I could not walk down the hall with out being out of breath, I could not go shopping because by the time I got to the other end of the store I was so in pain, my hips my legs. my back..I don't feel that any more today.. yes there is sometimes I feel a little sore when I have pushed my self I believe it is my body preparing its self to get to the next level of fitness that I am asking it to do so there will be a little resistance, like they say no pain no gain right.

The day started out a little overcast. but it quickly cleared up and the sun came out..the ride was great.. loved passing all those farms

They came out to greet us too

I plan on riding more this year. I also plan on doing other things. but one thing I do plan on is adding more accomplishments to my list.
