I'm Up and Kicking!

It was 94 today and the "real feel" temperature was 104.

And I walked. At 2pm, I got my butt out of bed and walked my 4 miles, got some small gardening in and picked blueberries. But I walked! I walked!

And now I am tired. Gonna take a few days to ramp back up, but I did it and I feel infinitely better for doing so. Finally accomplishing something makes me feel much better.

Now let me tell you WHY I walked... I scarfed 4 pieces of pizza last night and 3 pieces of cheesy bread with spinach and feta cheese. I was a pig and this afternoon I grossed myself out so badly by eating all that and that was the motivation I needed. Plus, the scale grossed me out too!

So YAY! Happy dance... if I had the energy left over.

    Great that you got the 4 miles done. PIzza. I used to LOVE pizza. It's the one food I miss...but when I eat it now, it no longer tastes good. DRATS I'm RUINED!

Good to have you feeling up to walking. Start slow so you don't even up back in bed. take care of you--no one else will!

    It was cool enough I needed a light jacket on my walks today. It sure doesn't feel like June with this cool weather.

    Good for you getting that walk in! I walked 30 min. on our patio and it is so hot but I did it!
