Runner? Possibly....

Since last September, I have wanted to run in a marathon....preferably a 5K to start out. Since September I have not really worked toward running any length. This month we have 4 of our kids at home and I cannot workout to my dvd' are everywhere emoticon
So, I have started going to the park and walking/running. I have never really attempted running, never thought of myself as a runner. Well, this morning I ran 1 mile....without stopping once! It was an awesome feeling! And has made my day, whole week! I have not set weekly goals, but starting today I am. I am on cloud 9!!!

    Check out couch to 5 K (C25K). It's a running program/schedule specifically designed to get you from basically nothing (you're ahead of the ball there) to running a 5K. I've been using it for a little over a week now and it's pretty cool. There are even some apps for your phone out there that will help time and track you while you run.
