A different approach

Well I restarted on Sunday. I had lost 60 lbs and then hit a plateau, frustration set in and I gave up. Here I am with 15 of those pounds gained back. I'm restarting at a weight of 200 lbs even. I'm following the diet set out by a local Dr here, it's a low carb diet, but also it has a maintenance program for when you hit your goal weight. Basically the diet is from Sunday morning until Friday at 6 pm you eat mostly proteins. Carbs are limited to 30 or less per day. This puts your body in ketosis where you are burning fat only because you have no carbs to burn. From Friday at 6 pm until bedtime Saturday you eat what ever you want. and repeat this weekly cycle until you reach goal. I went to an information evening and it was very impressive to see the results others had, including his wife. She was funny, said she shopped all week for her "cheat hours" Today is day three and so far I'm finding it very easy. Phase two is limiting carbs to 100-150 per day Sunday to Friday night at 6 pm, and then you get the same cheat times. I'm really hoping for big results, I'm hoping to reach my goal by Christmas so I can shock my family with how great I look.
