Mission accomplished for the weekend - got in a heck of a hike on saturday.
I was a last minute add to a couple of girl friends that normally hike during the week. Dang can these gals move! We attempting a hike at too high of an altitude and were turned back due to snow up to our wiasts... ooofa! We were at about a 3 mile total at that point, plus a couple hours in the car there and back. And what do these gals say, at 3pm... let's got find another hike! Oh Dear!
Needless to say they found a hike, aimed for the summit at 4pm, which i was like, heck if we are aiming for the summit, let's do this... alas, half way there they decided it was getting too late and we wouldn't make it... these gals were doing 20 minute miles up a mountain... but whatever... alas their main purpose was just to enjoy the outdoors and burn some calories - 26,000 fit bit steps... Yup - mission accomplished!
Alas, i was tuckered beyond belief and hubby let the next day for his conference. And my plantar facetis is back with a vengeance, i can barely walk when i get out of bed in the morning (or at night to go pee) - stupid snow pack! The last round i was able to over come with a couple days with my heavy duty inserts, i'm hoping for that again!
Sunday after i dropped the hubby at the airport i spent all day, and i mean all day shopping and eating! Woot! 10am we left for the airport, i rolled back into the garage around 6:30pm! I hit 2 Ross's, 2 Nordstrom Racks, 1 kohl's, 1 costplus, 1 off broadway, 1 home depot, and 1 bed bath and beyond! I've got new shirts and shorts, new dividers for my spice racks, covers for the deck chairs in the winter, a new front door rug etc etc! It was a great day! And i took a cooler with me so i'm eating spam moosubi and macaroni salad all week! (every thing in moderation), and for lunch i caught up with a girlfriend for Garbanzo's Mediterranean food - mmmm!
This week has been busier than i had hoped, i did take a little time for me on sunday and did a little feet up the wall meditation, and yesterday i got in a couple chapters of my book club book!
I've got home depot (need to surprise the hubby with a new built in set of shelves in the closet), walmart (need a new cooler for camping), and target (cereal is on sale and prescription pick up) - on the books for today at some point!
Stay in calorie range - LOG FOOD
Water - get in 90 ounces
Extra exercise - it is aiming for 100 today, but maybe get in a walk around 8pm
Me time - reading or chilling
