Another Rescue

Tuesday, June 11, 2013

Well it seems to be part of my life at the moment! ANIMAL RESCUE!
This time of the reptile kind!

So the neighbor calls me this morning to ask if I could bring over my camera, he wants me to take a pic of something in his driveway!

YES!

It was a snapping turtle,

So we were worried it would try to cross the busy road and so we helped him get back to the lake!

It was so funny, it kept snapping at us!

I just kept snapping pics of it! lol

There....back where he/she belongs!

Wonder what next?

That is SO KIND. I'm so glad you set him free rather than keep him for the kids to see. So many people do that and its sad because tortoises and turtles too I guess....are homing creatures. They go back home, so if you keep one in captivity, you are messing with its biological function. emoticon for doing the right thing.
