So have I mentioned how much I love living in the city?!? Ha!

Hubs and I had a great weekend. Saturday I did my wellness "Boot Camp," and on Sunday my bestie and her fiancee came down to visit. It was a special occasion, so we went and got hoagies (at Paesano's, and they were AMAZING), walked up to the park, headed to the river, and had some ice cream (at The Franklin Fountain - which I highly recommend if you are in Philly!). The whole day gave us about four miles of hoofing it. Getting in my steps during a fun day? I'll take it!

They had to leave earlier than planned, so hubs went on Twitter and checked some restaurants for reservations. We found an opening at a great little French bistro, where people make reservations months in advance. It's practically right around the corner from us! We had escargot and fois gras to start, and some great main courses and desserts. The entire day was filled with such decadent food! mmmm

So after Sunday, yesterday was kind of a bummer. Low-key, I should say. I slept really late (ugh - I always feel so blah when I sleep late) and it was pouring. Didn't really feel like doing much of anything. But hubs pushed me to go to the gym in the afternoon, and I ended up working really hard and doing a great circuit. I instantly felt better. Yay!

- schoolwork
- send some resumes
- stuff around the house
- drink all my water
- track food!
- cycle class this evening

Rainy mornings are so wonderful when you can sleep in just a bit.... and playing "tourist" is such a nice way to get your steps in, too.
