As part of a challenge in which I am participating, I am required to formalize four goals for the next 12 week period. These are goals I have been working on but in a less than formal manner.
My main goal: Lose 1 lb each week for 12 weeks
I will attain this goal as follows:
1. Prepare a weekly meal plan every Sunday to support that week's nutritional / calorie goals
2. Limit CICO to less than 1,000 cals each day
3. Burn 3,500 additional cals each week through intentional exercise
4. Perform 25 mins of intentional exercise six days every week
Reading Kal's comment below, I realize I wasn't clear about #2 above. . .my plan is to control the difference between my Calorie In / Calorie Out so that I never take in more than 1,000 calories over what I expend, i.e.:
If I consume 1,500 calories, I must expend, at a minimum, 501 (preferably more) calories that day so that the difference between the two is less than 1,000 calories.
Over the next weeks, I will update my goals using Sparkpeople's SMART goal-setting procedure.
