Sunny and nice for a change.

The sun finally made an appearance in Minnesota today. It was nice and sunny, and even warm!
After work we headed out for F Class rifle leagues. Basically no wind so it was nice shooting.
I shoot a 187 with 5 x's. Jim shot a 190 with 2 x's. Keep in mind the X ring at 600 yards is only 3 inches across. Picture aiming for a softball at 6 football field lengths and hitting it. We forgot they were shooting 44 rounds for 3 weeks in a row so shooters could get an NRA classification before the State match. We only came to shoot our normal 22 rounds. So the evening as abit longer due to that. Jim wasn't thrilled, the rifle shooting isn't his favorite, he likes pistol more. He just wanted to pack up and leave and not shoot at all. So you can tell it was a really fun evening with Mr. Pouty Pants. He asked me if I planned on shooting 22 or 44 shots next week. I told him I just wanted to do the 22 rounds. I told him I would go alone if he didn't want to go. He didn't say much after that so I guess I am in the dog house-again.
