Hi everyone. It's been a long while since I've been on here. I don't know why, I just can't seem to get myself in gear with taking care of myself or attacking my weight issues :(

From last Aug-beginning of November I was on here all the time, tracking my food most every day, and consistently exercising. Since then - nothing.

Anyone have some good tips on how to get myself moving again - I just seem to be in a funk and dragging and I don't know how to get myself out of it. Ugh!!

    I only know what works for me - I have to find something VERY small (Yes, I WILL exercise for 10 minutes. Yes, I WILL eat a piece of fruit today). When I have several days of success with my VERY small goal it makes it easier to step back to a bigger goal. STARTING is the hardest part.

Hang in there. You can DO this.

    This is probably going to sound mean but you have to want it and you have to tell yourself to Just Di It and then follow through.

    I need creative outlets. The website creativitygames.net posts games/challenges on Monday and Friday every week. They don't take long to do, but challenge your creativity.

I also asked for this book for my birhtday "Wreck This Journal" by Keri Smith. You open it up to a random page and do what that page tells you to do. Here are some examples: sew this page, climb high and drop book, fill page with circles, fill this page in when you are really angry, tie string to page and go for a walk dragging book. scribble wildly using borrowed pens, etc. - things that you don't do to books. i like it.

Basically I am taking a few moments to do something that I enjoy. Think of what you enjoy and make sure you get to do it a little bit each week. It might help "recharge" your batteries.
