Happy Monday everyone!
Why is it that weekends are so difficult? Shouldn't those be the days that we have all of our best tools at our disposal? More time to cook healthy meals? Clearly, this is not the case because so many of us have such a hard time staying on track on weekends!
I did better than I usually do, eating in range on Sunday, but not on Saturday. I did not get a second of a workout in either day. I want this bad enough. I need to stick to my guns.
So, the hubby gets rewards at work that he can use to "purchase" gift cards for various places. This time around he used is points to get $150 for Sports Authority. He wanted a dumbell set that he could change the weight on. So he got that, a jump rope, and Perfect Pushup Handles. I got an over-the-door resistance band set. I REALLY hope this can take the place of the cable machine at the gym so I can get my FBB done at home. I miss that workout so much, but not enough that I can make sense of a 40 minute round trip drive to and from the gym each day.
My plan for this week:
Today - Attempt FBB Workout A at home after work (and penalty pushups for Sparking as a Team)
I will also sit down with my FBB book and change up the cardio circuits to be all home based ones.
Tuesday - FBB Cardio Circuit
Wednesdeay - FBB Workout B
Thursday - FBB Cardio Circuit
Friday - FBB Workout A
My biggest challenge is getting up at 4:45am and STAYING up. I am doing great with getting up and making my smoothie. Then I climb back in bed for 2 hours before getting up to get ready for work. My workouts have been minimal - just enough to meet the 10 minutes for Sparking as a Team. I WILL NOT GET THE BODY I WANT THIS WAY!!!!!!! I need to kick my own rear and do my workouts! If I get up at 4:45, have my smoothie done and get dressed for my workout by 5:30, I can workout until 6:30... shower and STILL lay down for 30+ minutes! I can probably also get some laundry done in that time and still get a nap!
So, I am going to take this one week at a time. I will tell you, my dear Spark friends, my plan for the week, and if I do not get it in, I expect lashings.
Honestly though, I've made 100 plans in the last couple of weeks and nothing is sticking. Rather than trying to plan out several weeks in workouts, I will work on 1 week at a time to find something that works for me.
Thank you all for your continued support. I appreciate you all!!
