Running 10km been a goal of mine since last year when I started running.
Yesterday, I woke up and things just seemed to fall into place. I WANTED to do it and was ready to push myself.
I had to walk many times but I was okay with that. When my heart rate got to 180ish i knew it was time to walk until my heart rate dropped down. Every time it dropped I just started running again without really having to force myself.
I took a new route and saw many other runners, it was nice to give a brief smile and say "good morning" as we ran past each other.
In the end it took me 70 minutes to do 10k on a route that wasn't exactly flat.
