...TURNAROUND TIME!!
I've been lax and fat and lazy, but NO MORE.

I know, I've said this before. And failed. Slacked, gone back to fat and lazy.
But THIS TIME I waited to share. Because I didn't want to fake anyone out. So there. :-)

I started a couple of personal projects at the beginning of the month--aside from a serious commitment to getting my sh** together, I started a Couch-to-5K program (treadmill...because in Florida, you really never know what you're gonna get as far as weather). Started having trouble with my previously-broken foot, so I did research and have been doing stretches that really help with the pain and have allowed me to keep running. On my not-running days, I work in some stationary biking.
I'm trying to get myself re-committed to lunchbreak workouts...a handful of little bodyweight exercises just to keep myself getting toned. I want to get back to lifting my weights, but our new temporary roomie (long story, don't ask) is in the erstwhile weight room, and the weights are still stored in there...and he's not always there for us to get them. We just keep missing him! In the meantime, I'm trying to find a spot to put the weights and the bench...oy. The treadmill and stationary bike are already crowding the living room...our bikes are now in our bedroom... I'll find a place, though.

I'm down two pounds already, eating healthier, feeling better and more chipper, and remembering why this was a big part of my life. Next step: finding a 5K to run in August, once I've finished my C25K training! :-)

    Way to go! I have recently done the same, with recommitting to working out and eating a better diet! Keep up the programs and goals you have started it sounds like you have a great plan! If you need support or just want to compare process feel free to message me! emoticon
