Big Hike

My boyfriend and I hike 8 miles this weekend with a 2,400 foot ascent. My calves were so sore this morning that I skipped my morning walk and went on a quick bike ride instead. Despite the soreness, I am glad to have met the challenge of the hike and hope that I won't get so sore next time. I haven't lost much weight, but I can see a big improvement in muscle tone. Hopefully the weight will start coming off soon.

    What an accomplishment!!!! You should be so proud of yourself!!!! Maybe a little soreness is quite worth.. emoticon You are doing great. Have a great, great day! BTW, you still took a bike ride this morning even though you didn't walk, so you are still doing fantastic. Keep up the GREAT work!!!

    That is awesome! One thing I always have to remember is that muscle weighs more than fat when considering volume. So while you may have lost weight you are replacing some of the fat with healthy muscle. This will help in the long run! emoticon
