Housework as exercise

Monday, June 10, 2013

I don't normally count housework as exercise but today I shall do just that.
I considered the fact that I do not normally in a day walk (or run) up and down 66 stairs 4 times.
I also do not normally wash and iron every item in my home, change every bed, vacuum 8 carpets on my hands and knees with the vacuum nozzle to get up every pet hair (we don't have power heads on the vacuums here in Sweden), clean out the refrigerator, wipe out all the kitchen cabinets and drawers, wash all the windows and still find time to go out (walking) exchange money and return library books.
Oh, and I still have to remake all the beds and fold all the clean laundry and finish vacuuming!
So I guess it qualifies as exercise, but only today......

Hahahaha! OK, I will do 1, or maybe 3!
I am leaving on a 6 week vacation on Thursday so I like to leave the house in good shape...there will be enough to do when we get home!

I am exhausted just reading about your day. Fit in a sit up and I think you have it covered.
