Three Weeks Post-op

Today I am 3 weeks post-op. I get to start on soft foods today. This past week was not a good one as I only lost 1 pound. I did go to the gym 2 days last week and I'm not sure if that is what slowed down my weight lost. I did 60 minutes each day, 30 walking on the treadmill and 30 on the recumbent bicycle. So I probably burn everything I ate during the day which apparently my body didn't like, but this week will be different. I plan on getting in lots of protein so hopefully it will make a difference.

So for the weight loss progress, I am currently at 185.4.

Highest Weight: 220

Weight at Start of Process: 203.5 (-16.5)

Pre Surgery Weight: 198.4 (-5.1)

1 Week Post-op: 190.6 (-7.8)

2 Weeks Post-op: 186.4 (-4.2)

3 Weeks Post-op: 185.4 (-1)

Total Loss from Surgery (-13)

Total Loss from Highest Weight (-34.6)

    That is just awesome!
    I am so happy for you. After surgery your weight is supposed to plummet and then level out for a couple of days, and then drop steeply again.

    Hey Friend - Don't get down! You are doing great and remember that along the road you will hit stalls, the body is just adjusting. Keep with the program and you will get to your goals!
