My Exercise Routine

Today's Sparkcoach lesson on my plateau busting program was about the possibility of over-exercising contributing to ones' plateau.

I don't think that's the case for me.

I run 30-45 minutes, which I think equates to between 2 and 4 miles, depending on the route and amount of time I take, 4-5 times a week, on a good week. Many weeks, I only run 3 days, but generally, I try to get a few quick walks around the block (about a mile) a few other days if it's an "only able to run 3 times" kind of week. I've also been doing the push-up challenge with my sister, and about 2 days a week, have been doing random strength training exercises or a strength session or 2 with Coach Nicole.

In the next week, however, I do intend to be more mindful of this, as it may be contributing to my bouts of lack of self-control with eating here and there.

    We all need to take a reality check once in a while just to see what the matter could be when we reach a plateau. The main thing is, if you are eating the right foods, getting exercise and you feel good, the rest will fall into place. emoticon

    that does sound like quite a bit of exercise. Which can be good and bad for the weight loss
