THE PLAN - Recitas Days 3 & 4

Weight Loss Day Three: 1.54 pounds. For first 3 days a total of 7.7 pounds!

On day three after dinner I still felt like I could eat something but I resisted. The day went well. The soup is nicer than just the carrot soup. I just don’t know why she could specify a bay leaf only to be in the soup for a short while. I cooked mine with the soup as I love its taste. I would like to hear her explain why she is doing it this way.

I also made a mistake (I now realise) at breakfast by not having a cup of flax but only a ½ cup. It was purely an oversight on my part, I did not check since the fruit is ½ cup I just measured the flax with the same ½ cup.

The roasted veggies were good and both Mr. Roelf and I loved it. It was great having a bit a chicken as well.

I see my weight loss is tapering off. I wonder if other people experience the same?
Still to lose 7.7 pounds in 3 days is unheard off for me.

I am just so grateful that the foods that I have tested so far are not putting my body into a inflammation state. I now know I can eat carrots, broccoli, salad greens, silver beet, flax seed, almonds, beet, chick peas, onion, ginger, garlic, pear, apple, blue berries, rice milk and avocado pear.

Weight Loss Day Four: GAINED 0.22 pounds
Yesterday was my Sunday and my sister came over in the afternoon. I did not have my afternoon snack, my chocolate had coconut in as that is all that I have in the house save 70% cacao, my wine was naturally sweeter than a dry wine so it showed up in my weight.

I think the gain is too little to take a day off, so I pushed on and had today a good day overall. Today I tested Rye crackers and with the almond butter it was yum.
One very sad thing that I need to note is that the elimination factory came to a complete close. I am sure this also have a bearing on the matter. I am just surprised my weight did not go back to the starting figure.

We will see what is going to happen tomorrow.

    You are doing great! The weighloss is bound to taper off and being stopped up combined with the sweeter red wine caused to tiny gain. Well done pushing trough it and going on with the next day.

    Awesome loss for your detox part of TP! I think eating 1 cup of the flax will help in the elimination department. Your weight will fluctuate according to if you are reactive or not.

  That was great weight loss during the cleanse. As you start testing new foods, the weight loss tends to slow, and your weight can go up & down as you react. The fact you had a small gain plus constipation after day 4 says you likely were reactive to a food, assuming your hydration, sleep, protein, fat, etc were on target.

Susie, there is a reason why you weigh daily on TP, so the usual "its best to weigh weekly" doesn't register here.

    Sounds like you are doing well Maggie.
Weight loss fluctuates from day to day depending on fluid retention and hormones ..
This is why it is best to weigh weekly or just go by how your clothes fit.
I am sure that by the end of the week you will see a good loss .. emoticon emoticon emoticon
