Getting Back Up After Every Fall = DETERMINATION

I am DETERMINED to get my walking back on schedule this week. I am altering my program from 4 miles every day to 2 miles every other day and 4 miles on the other days. Maybe that will give me the energy to branch out and try more stuff. I am also going to call up my surrogate dad (my BFF's dad) and ask him if I can wallow around in his pool like an overgrown sea lion. HEHE But it should be fun and quite refreshing.
My parents are leaving for 3 weeks in 7 days. I am quite excited!! I will just hate having to do ALL the gardening, mowing and weed-pulling while they are gone, but I will surely enjoy eating all the veggies. And my neighbor just sent over a TON of large zucchini, one of my favorite vegetables, so I will be cooking that up tomorrow. YUMMY! Nice neighbor, huh? We do try to share everything with our neighbors so we don't each have to do so much individually. It works... I swear it does! It's our own little community garden.
Anyway, I need to get my butt to bed so I can get up VERY early and head to the doc's office. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. All I can say about it is that I have gained 4 of the 7 pounds I lost being sick, I walked yesterday, Jack is limping like crazy from his arthritis, and It was hot, rainy, muggy and humid. So I took some time off to continue getting better. I am feeling a little stronger, but that's because I slept until 2pm today (I had some restless leg issues last night that I just couldn't kick it).
I hope you all had a wonderfully eventful weekend without any drama or tragedy. We all need a weekend like that sometimes.
