This last semester was absolutely rough. I got married in March, finished up my last semester in grad school (getting my degree in August!!!), and moved to Huntsville to start a new job. I wound up gaining back up to 225 with all these changes. I had so many plans and wanted to finish my journey in a very short time. I obviously won't be able to complete my journey anytime soon. In all honesty, I'll never truly complete my journey. I love food.
I've gotten settled into the new work routine, already gotten over a sore throat, and am ready to get started on my fitness trek again. This time, I only plan on being active 5 out of 7 days a week. I'm not putting limits on myself right now.
My life has changed drastically, but I think I'm going to enjoy this new life. I now have a fairly regular schedule, but with the flexibility to come into work when I'm ready (though it is helpful to be there when everyone else is there). The one downside to my new job is that it is an office job. I'm sitting for 8 hours a day, which isn't terribly helpful. Instead of eating out, we live close enough to work (hubby works at the same place) that we can come home for lunch and feed the cats. We may transition to eating lunch at work so that we can leave earlier, but this works for the moment.
My plan for the next week:
*work out each morning before work (or after if absolutely necessary)
*take healthy snacks to work (because I can't go so long without eating)
*make sure each meal is healthy and within my limits
