Marathon Training - Week 6

So, the week didn't go too bad. I managed a short run on Tuesday though it should have been 4 miles, I only got 2 1/2 done. I did do 4 miles on Wednesday. No run on Thur, Fri or Sat. But todays long run was very good and I completed 7 miles. Yay me! I have had to switch up though and I no longer carry my water bottle with the strap and now wear my hydration belt. I also tried for the first time Cliff Shots and I find that I like those better than gels. I will pick up more of those for future long runs. It is amazing what a difference it makes to fuel up in the long runs.

I am ready for a good training week this week and look forward to my next increase next Sunday. Feeling a little more confident today that I will actually be able to run the marathon in October.
