Persistance does pay off

Sunday, June 09, 2013

I've been staying the same or down a bit the last month or so, but I never quit. I just kept going and kept my focus on me. Well this week I lost 1.2 pounds. That is wonderful. I'm down 3.4 now and my first goal is 5. Reward? I really don't know as of yet. But i'm thinking on it. I want to do this in five pound increments and I will have to have a "treat" at the five pound marks. Not a food treat...a little something that says "you did it".

I am so excited to see a great response to weight loss. Some can't be happy with a smaller amount. I look at it, as another notch in the great race for healthy!!!
Kudo's to you, love the pic posted it on FB. MJ

Good going! For reward ideas I've thought in terms of maybe a massage for every 20 pounds. Might that work? Or a facial or mani/pedi. Don't know the cost of these. Keep up the good effort. emoticon -- Lou

For me the goal is One Day At A Time, No Days Off. Another way of phrasing persistence.
