After all of that rain on Friday, we had a beautiful day for Meghan's graduation yesterday! It did rain just a little at the end, but it quickly cleared and it was inside so it didn't really matter. Mom and Larry drove up for it which was really nice since her brothers and sister for various reasons were not able to be there. Afterwards we had a party at her friends house with parents and friends. It was a nice safe place for everyone to go and not worry about them out on the roads.
I am very proud of Meghan. She struggles a lot sometimes with the medical issues she has, yet she worked practically full time while going to school and pulled it all together to graduate and to graduate with a respectable GPA!
Here are a few of the pics from the ceremony and the party after:
It's been over a month since your daughter graduated, but I wanted to say Congratulations anyway! You must be so proud of her! I have a son who I pray will graduate next year! He struggles with a lot of things. But, good going for Meghan! 1347 days ago
Congratulations to you both. Our youngest daughter graduated 3 weeks ago and we had her party 2 weeks ago. It is so touching to see how much they have grown and changed and become their own person in such a short time. These years fly by. We have one more left out of our 8, he is a sophomore this year learning to drive right now. (That, I believe is the final hurdle that started with learning to walk, ha ha.) I cannot believe that our kids have grown up so quickly--when there were so many long nights and difficult days amidst the fun and love and laughter. Meghan has done well and deserves all of the accolades that are out there for her. Again, congratulations! Sylvia 1379 days ago
Carla, thank you for posting the pictures and for the blog for Meghan. She has done a wonderful job to get where she is. We are so proud of her and were so happy we were there to celebrate. Thanks again for sharing the photos......they turned out great.
