I'm trying to decide if I should take a break from Sparkpeople for a while. Yes, it's been a great help for me over the past few years in helping me lose the weight, but about all I can do every day is earn points and track most of my food and exercise. I don't hardly post on message boards, usually because there's always something going on around me that is distracting and I can't seem to put two words together when that happens. I've found that I'm doing way too much cardio and not enough strength training, which is why I can't seem to lose any more weight, and why I'm getting weaker. I can't hardly pick up my 5 year old granddaughter! So I'm going to remove myself from the 10,000 steps a day team and focus more on strength training to try to lose some weight I've regained. Only about 10 pounds, but I need to get it back off. Anyway, I'm wondering if I'm becoming too obsessed with Sparkpeople and need to take a break for awhile. That and my bodybug maybe. Just depend on my healthy eating habits and still exercise at least 5 days a week. Hoping I can think of a solution soon.
