My goal this challenge to be end under 200 pounds. Even 199 will be acceptible. Sounds easy, doesn't it? But I have been bouncing around in the 203-212 area for so long. And I know most of it is because of my emotional eating issues. Between the interim weeks, my mother's death, money issues due to Ed's disability checks, and quite a few other changes in my life, I haven't always made the wisest choices.
So using the SMART system...
S > I want to end under 200 pounds, within the next eight weeks, for both my health and because my older son will owe me $50.
M > this is a measureable goal because it is specific and important to me.
A > I will continue to go to the gym at least 3X a week, and do extra exercise throughout the day to keep my heart rate up. I will continue to measure my food, track my food, and avoid eating anything that will make me feel guilty.
R > this is realistic because I already have the tools, and know I can do this if I don't get lazy.
T > time is on my side, because it's about half a pound per week. And having the weight gone before I go on vacation at the end of July will be a big boost to my morale.
