Despite last week's mixed behavior, I am happy to report I lost 1.5# over the week. It's enough to propel me forward.
As a bonus activity today, I am Walking for Juvenile Diabetes this morning with my sis. Her husband had to cancel at the last minute and she asked me to be her walking partner. I hesitated only for a moment....I don't like crowds but sis is walking for a worthy cause, and well, she is making the effort to walk after having surgery on her heel last January. The park they chose has an area of a slowly developing, but significant incline....hope her foot can take it.
Organizing a trip to see my other sis, who lives in Atlanta, GA area in the late Fall. I will probably go in November, when grandbaby is vacationing down in FL with her parents and other grandparents who own a condo in Ft. Lauderdale area.
As soon as I am done blogging I will get out for my early morning walk. And, it is a glorious cool, and sunny morning, so perfect for walking.
